Okay, so I don't know if you heard, but the house we moved into last July is being put up for sale. We have been offered to buy it before it is put up publicly, but we don't know the price yet. So, we are working on trying to purchase a house, this one being our first choice.
Steve explained everything to Duquan (Jaden wouldn't quite understand just yet). This morning I open my closet door and there's a bag with Duquan's computer games and MP3 player. On the bag is written "Stuff to sell on eBay." I couldn't help but smile and feel a little choked up. I called him in and gave him the bag and explained to him that he could help the family out by doing well in school and behaving himself. It was thought that REALLY counts.
