Over the hill and through the woods, to Nonnina's house we go!

It was an early start for a day trip to Nonnina's new place. Luckily daylight savings time ended and we gained an extra hour for sleep! Nonnina has her own balcony, a garden to sit in with a pond, and Jaden liked the fish tank in the lobby (Poppop was trying to guess what the stakes were for the billards game that was taking place between two gentlemen). It was hard for her to leave her friends in Fresno, but I think she will like it there. She has a great view and she is in walking distance from Aunt Sue and Uncle Frank's semi-new house.

And their house is beautiful. They have an indoor patio with a hot tub in the back, a beautiful lawn, and a small water fountain that Jaden loved listening to. They have a great front deck for visiting and it was a nice warm day to sit outside... in November in snow country! Jaden and Duquan were racing back and forth on the front deck... there's Jaden getting ready...

Duquan enjoyed the lawn in front of the house. It was perfect for lounging and imagining.

As you can sort of see, their view is awesome (and it looks like Duquan has another loose tooth).

We had a lot of fun and can't wait to visit again. But next time, we are definitely staying longer. A day trip is just too much. We were exhausted!
