Christmas at Home

We had Christmas at home this year. The kids loved it. The theme for Jaden this year was dress-up clothes. Steve and I were getting tired and picking up Jaden's regular clothes from her many wardrobe changes throughout the day. So, for Christmas we asked Santa to PLEASE get Jaden some dress-up clothes that she can play with and put away herself. Well, Santa came through (in the form of Nonni)! Now we can see Jaden be all sorts of different characters throughout the day. And now we just have to teach her how to be a grateful and humble princess rather than the raving, waving-wand kind of princess. Too much fun...

Duquan's theme this year was education. He got so many books he doesn't know where to start. He curls up on his reading chair and reads his books. Jaden sometimes listens too, but usually can't sit still for more than two minutes (like your normal typical two-year-old). His cousin Chris got him a Hot Wheels track (that Steve would like to send out a huge thanks to Chris for having to put that one together).

A huge thanks to all for making this Christmas so special for all of us. Thank you so much for the gifts and all the love you sent our way. We really appreciate it. A huge thank-you to: Mom, Dad, Nonni, Aunt Joyce and Uncle Warren, Aunt Sue and Uncle Frank, Cindy, Linda and Michael (Dominic and Spencer), Chris and Crystal (Kaycie), Mike and Lisa (Mikey), Aunt Pam, Ed and Casey, Kat and Vince (Alessandra and Jacob), Claire, Amber, and Kyle. Thank you all and God bless!
